How To Pin Documents To Taskbar Windows 10

Hi Jim

Right click your Document Folder and cull 'Send to Desktop' - create shortcut

That volition put a new shortcut o your Desktop, correct click that and choose Properties

In the Target Box you volition see the location of your Documents binder in quotes

Before that add together explorer.exe + a space, then it ends up looking like this:

explorer.exe "C:\Users\Dave M\Documents"

Relieve that, then only drag that shortcut onto your Taskbar

You can and so delete the shortcut from your Desktop

I'k Stefano an Independent Counselor, here to help you.
You can practise that using this workaround:

1. Right click on your Document folder
2. Click on "Create link" and create a desktop link
3. Right click on the link on your desktop
4. Click on "Proprieties"
v. Change path adding "explorer" before the actual path
vi. Click on "Change icon" and select a new icon (it must exist different than the default folder icon)
vii. Click on "Employ"
8. Drag the desktop link to your taskbar
